Taste early native and foraged foods that pay homage to the Tasmanian and South Australian indigenous women. These women were taken from their tribes to become the wives of European sealers and whalers on Kangaroo Island in the late 1700’s.

Let Tina and Eddie from Kangaroo Island Fresh Seafoods treat you to the best of their catch – straight from the boats of local fishermen from Investigator Straight.

Dessert – Fact or Fairy-tale?
Inspired by one of Prue Holden’s famous desserts we reinvent an old classic combining all things fig with a touch of fairy-tale. Three generations ago, Prue and her husband James (from Holden motor car fame) were the original landowners of the Fig Tree property.
Although the set menu considers most diets, we are unable to cater for individual dietary requests on the day or in addition to the menu supplied. We are delighted to accommodate vegan, vegetarian, or allergic dietary meals ONLY. These requests must be made at the time of booking, thank you.
Charged on consumption and featuring a blend of the best Kangaroo Island and South Australian premium white and red wines. Local craft beers and Kangaroo Island Spirits gins also available for purchase.
